Career Discovery Program

Learn from practicing professionals about a wide range of career options in enough detail to have an educated view on what's best for you. Our tools and coaching help you reflect on what you learn and choose the paths that fit you best.

Components of the Program

1. Live Sessions with Working Professionals

Students hear directly from professionals across 20+ industries, who share what their jobs actually look like day-to-day, the paths that got them there, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. These sessions give students the detail they need to identify which careers feel both achievable and exciting, while also building a network of warm, approachable contacts.

2. Hands-On Group & Individual Career Coaching

Introships coaches help students process what they learn in the professional presentations. Through structured reflections, group discussions, and one-on-one coaching, students critically assess which industries and roles resonate with them—and which don’t. They take notes and work through a proprietary Introships tool that organizes their insights and points them toward career directions that best fit their interests, strengths, and goals.

3. Career Skills & Platform Access

Building on their reflections, students get focused coaching on the skills that turn interest into action: discovering their “why,” crafting and practicing concise elevator pitches and personal narratives, setting clear career goals, and developing the habits and accountability needed to follow through. Students also have access to the Introships platform to revisit presentations, view presentations from previous years, and practice skills on their own time.

Participants will walk away from the program with...

A polished elevator pitch and confidence to use it appropriately in different settings
