About Introships

The Introships Mission

At Introships, we believe in the power of a successful career to bring satisfaction, meaning, and joy to a person’s life. Our mission is to help college students launch their careers with clarity and confidence, so they can build fulfilling lives.

The Introships Experience

Across our two programs, the Introships experience harnesses the combined power of storytelling, networking, and accountability. What does this look like in practice? Participants gain access to live video calls with dozens of professionals, a robust video library full of the content from previous presentations, and live video coaching sessions with Introships coaches as well as recruiting experts.

All professional presenters describe the fields in which they work, detail the day-to-day in the jobs, reveal what they like and don’t like about the work, share their professional journeys, and pass on what they wish they had known when they were 19 years old. Through these sessions, students learn about 20+ potential career paths in enough detail to form informed opinions about what they would be good at and what they find intrinsically interesting. While participants receive this deep, industry-specific knowledge, they’re also learning about broader topics like how to choose a career, what it takes to succeed, how to think about work/life balance, and very specific and tactical advice from experts on how to find an internship or get a job in the rapidly changing world of early-career hiring.

The Introships programs, through the power of the network, enable students to learn about a wide range of careers, decide which ones are best for them, and act on that knowledge.

Introships partners with schools and non-profits to recruit a diverse mix of talented and motivated students. Donors fund scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to participate.
