Career Activation Program

Pursue internships or jobs in your chosen fields with the help of recruiting experts and our network of presenters, and learn how to enter the workforce. You will be the most competitive candidate you can be in these challenging times for early career hiring.

Components of the Program

1. Expert Instruction

We have assembled a group of experts from company recruiters and college career centers to address topics like:

  • Networking and Personal Brand
  • Resume/Cover Letter/LinkedIn
  • Interview Preparation
  • Mock Interviews with Industry Professionals
  • Business Communication and Informal Workplace Interactions
2. Pipeline Creation & Execution

With the help of the Introships coaches, students build out a detailed pipeline of networking and internship/job opportunities that is specific to their career interests. These opportunities come from their friends and family, professors, school career centers, Introships presenters and alums, and other networking calls. The Introships coaches work through each student’s pipeline with them every week for the first 8 weeks of the program, and on an as-needed basis after that.

3. Access to the Learning & Networking Platform

The platform contains hundreds of videos explaining the nuances of what people in various careers do, and sharing what they have learned in their years on the job, with a focus on helping college students make informed decisions about the best careers for them. Each of the presenters is a "warm-lead" networking opportunity- they participate in the Introships program because they want to give back by helping students make the right choices that lead to a satisfying career.

Participants will walk away from the program with...

Networking skills developed through coaching and real-life experience

Relevant professional contacts/mentors based on areas of career interest

An updated and optimized LinkedIn profile and presence

A deep understanding of how to leverage LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms

A ‘sales funnel’ of internship or full-time job opportunities to inspire action and accountability

Skills and a plan to work that pipeline to deliver real recruiting results

The experts share specialized guidance, while the Introships coaches provide pipeline advice and accountability.
